Tongue Joy
The Tongue Joy miniature surgical steel cordless vibrator is to say the least an interesting idea... if not an unqualified success in its ambitions to revolutionize oral sex.
The device is designed to fit on top of your tongue and includes rubber bands to keep it in place if you have a non-pierced tongue and a handy barbell attachment to affix it if your tongue is indeed pierced. The package includes 3 different sized tongue attachments, 4 silicone sleeves, turbo battery pack, cordless pack and satin carrying case.
There are definitely two viewpoints we came across when evaluating this product; one positive and the other less so. The high marks came from those using the device who have pierced tongues, while the people attempting to employ the item using the supplied rubber bands were less impressed.
Why not add vibrations to oral sex? Well there are a couple of reasons. Firstly, some of our evaluators experienced numbing of their tongues while employing the device - a situation that can lead to decreased ability to sense features in genitalia which simply leads to imprecise oral stimulation (less than desirable). Once their tongues had become desensitized, the reviewers found that continuing the act was more labor than pleasure. The individuals who experienced the above were always those that were using the rubber bands, while those with pierced tongues seldom complained of this.
The rubber bands themselves are a trick to get on your tongue and can definitely interrupt the flow and spontaneity of the moment while you fiddle with it to get it secured. Once in place however, several of our reviewers said that they found it an interesting variation but tricky to maintain. The pierced reviewers on the other hand loved it!
This is the very first product we have ever given both a thumbs up and a thumbs down to. if your tongue is pierced it comes highly recommended. If not, we'd suggest you give it a pass.
