 Dr. Joel's Penis Pump
Let me first say that while this product gets a thumbs down for efficacy in terms of penis size augmentation, it is actually a good quality item in terms of its manufacture. This is certainly how the exorbitant price of nearly $200 is justified. Dr. Joel Kaplan has capitalized on the insecurities of many men when it comes to the size of their penises by producing a product that claims to enhance this measure. It is supposed to, over time, add both inches and girth to your member by way of stretching the tissues using a suction mechanism. Our researchers found no permanent measurable increase in either of these proportions after 3 months of testing. This is not to say that perhaps when used for longer periods this product will achieve the desired effect, but the tests were tiresome and we can’t see anyone using this item for protracted periods when no initial gains were realized.
It is also claimed that the suction produced by the product is pleasurable. We found absolutely no evidence of this and indeed when we tested the product extensively we found that it was quite easy to employ too much suction and actually cause your penis to become injured. This was evidenced by the significant swelling and pain experienced by some of our researchers after testing the product. No permanent damage was done however, and no medical treatment was required.
We were surprised that we were actually able to speak with Dr. Kaplan on the provided telephone number to discuss this situation and he stated that our reviewers must have been using way too much suction. Then he proceeded to attempt to sell us accessories for the product…
Penis pumps were originally designed to help men with erectile dysfunction achieve an erection and are quite effective at doing so. The penis can indeed be temporarily stretched beyond its normal capacity with a pump and perhaps this is the root of the anecdotal evidence of size increases. Unfortunately to temporarily maintain this increased size you would have to cut off the blood flow from exiting the penis by way of a restrictive device like a heavy duty elastic band. If you are having no problems getting a normal erection, this strategy is not recommended. After all, are you going to “pump yourself up” and put an elastic on your penis before you have sex every time?? This simply isn’t a practical solution and from what our female reviewers have told us, would certainly not be very impressive.
Guys, while we have no conclusive evidence that penis pumps are ineffective for penile enhancement over long periods, it is our suspicion that this is the case. A far better strategy is to just learn to be happy with what nature gave you and master some techniques and positions that will maximize your effectiveness with it.
